App Store Reviews

Sharon Mahoney Skelton ★★★★★

very cute, simple story! short enough to hold little ones attention spans and interactive enough to entertain. My guys loved all the pages and we read it over and over. each page offers something fun, and educational. and the narrators voice was soothing and not too overwhelming. The painting part was definitely a nice bonus. my younger guys love the magic paint while the older ones enjoyed painting their own pictures- super fun app!!

Team Barnard ★★★★★

A mothers secret weapon - My girls LOVE Timmy. My eldest being almost four just adores the painting and my youngest (almost two) loves tickling Timmy and playing on the xylophone…the only problem is that we only own one iPad, so I’ve downloaded the iPhone app and problem solved. It’s brilliant….and an excellent tool for a peaceful coffee in Cafe Nero for me, thank you.

Teacher Jo ★★★★★

Excellent app! - Fabulous little app, great graphics, interesting activities. As a school teacher I can highly recommend this app for developing children’s motor skills and enhance pre-school learning. Fantastic!!!

Lucy Bourn ★★★★★

A really wonderful app! Beautiful graphics and charming animations, my two year old loves it. The improvments include much more than I expected. The new xylophone is fantastic, very happy to have ago myself! I hope there are more apps like this to come.

Rebecca Varrall ★★★★★

Fun learning tool! - As a child clinical psychologist I would definitely recommend this interactive book to parents. It supports learning of basic numeracy and literacy as well as more complex social communication skills. The fun activities and animations help to maintain concentration and focus attention. A lot of fun!

Laura Lulabelle ★★★★★

Fantastic! - I love the music section of this app, really good for hand eye coordination and a real sense of achievement when completing it. As a teacher of young children I think it is a great app for developing a number of skills.

This updated version is absolutely fantastic! Really loving all the new features- games, painting and even a xylophone! Perfect to help kids learn and have endless fun while they’re doing it. A very impressive creation.

Stewie_UK ★★★★★

Via Padgadget. Brilliant! So much fun and the fantastic graphics really compliment the reading experience rather than distract from it. I'd highly recommend it.

Sian Biddlecombe ★★★★★

This is a gorgeous app for my little ones – my two toddlers adore it! It’s a lovely book (beautifully read by Gina Beck) with a very sweet, loveable octopus but the best bit is how interactive it is. My 2 year old loves playing the xylophone, bouncing the balloons and doing the washing up. It’s really helping him learn his colours and he’s already trying to count, so it’s educational as well as fun! His favourite bit is turning out the lights and putting Timmy to sleep – he keeps trying to kiss Timmy good night!
I cannot fault this app, it’s wonderful! I hope there will be more?!

Rachel Barnard ★★★★★

What a wonderful app, my two girls absolutely adore it. My eldest being almost three loves the washing up and dressing up. My youngest who is only just one giggles hysterically as she tickles Timmy’s tummy. Beautifully illustrated and narrated. A big hit.

Alex Porteous ★★★★★

Wonderful app, my 5 year old and 3 year old both love it. Its so interactive and they keep finding new things that Timmy Tickle can do! It’s beautifully created and read. We are awaiting the next adventure with Timmy Tickle!

Withington Gang ★★★★★

With 3 under 5, this app has caused many an argument over who wants to play the most!! They love the various activities (especially the washing up!) and all the bright colours… When’s the next one coming out?

Fizzy 24 ★★★★★

This is such a fantastic app and well worth the £2.99 I paid for it my 4 year old loves listening to the story being read to her and investigating all the pages, and after which she will read it again telling us what Timmy is doing. The application has a great way of teaching the children there colours, numbers in fun and unique way. The funny pages where Timmy is roller skating and washing up always provides laughter and many open ended questions.
Not only do I recomened this as a parent, I am within the childcare industry and I know from past interactive books I have seen this is One of best available.
Hope your child enjoys Timmy Tickle as much as mine have .
