For my brothers Birthday a group of us decided to experience the ‘interactive dining’ at Inamo, near Picadilly. Each table is furnished with a small circular pad with which you can change the ‘atmosphere’ (background image) of the table, order drinks, call the waiter and even explore the menu by projecting different meals onto your plate! Apart from the slight anti-social aspect I thought it worked really well, and couldn’t stop thinking of extra things they could have included-videos of how the food is made for example. The discovery of a ‘game’ section provided a lot of entertainment- battle ships, speed memory games and other challenges we invented using the limited game selection. Oh , and the food was pretty good too!
